HISTORY

Method Day Care Center was the first multi-racial daycare in Wake County in 1969 and still maintains its diversity. It is a non-profit organization, founded by five area churches, which formed the Raleigh Inter-Church Housing Corporation (RICH). It began operations in the Method community of Raleigh with seventeen children, two staff members, and many talented volunteers. Method was organized to serve children from all socioeconomic backgrounds and proudly continues that tradition.

In 2004, Method changed its name to Method Child Development Center and moved from Pullen Baptist Church to its current facility at 900 Trailwood Drive in Raleigh, NC. Today, Method serves children six weeks through school age. The Center operates five classrooms (infant, toddler, two, three, four/five, and after-school). In 2015, Method officially became a state-licensed 5-star center. We are so proud of the hard work from staff and the quality care being provided to our families.
